There are some fossils found everyday. Sometimes hard to explain why they found them where they were found. There was a small fresh water fish living long ago. It's body was found all across the world. Scientist believe that all of the continents were once one huge super continent called Pangea.
I am going to tell you the process of Mitosis. Mitosis is a process in which cells go through to reproduce. They first start out as cells that have been some other cells "daughter cell", as a scientist call it. The cells start with duplicating the membrane and that step is called interphase and is what cells are in most of the time. The cell then goes through another phase. The wall comes to the middle, and it is getting ready to split.
The Sky is blue because the light from the sun reflects off the water and it makes the blue. There is another theory that I know about, and it is that the sky is blue because of the sun's reflection onto the ocean, also the gases from the plants and the from the human. We make it blue because of the carbon dioxide that we breathe out and the oxygen that the plants give to us. The sky's color is man made and also plant made. The sky is blue from the sun hitting the ocean and that color reflecting to the sky.
Last week in science we did a frog dissection. It was gross, but it helped. I had lots of fun with it. The question asked was "How does frog dissection help you to appreciate the job of a surgeon? and What would modern surgery be like if there was never any practice on another species? Well the job takes patience and steadiness in time but in all that job is very hard so I do appreciate all of the surgeons out there. Their job takes a lot, and it should take their job to another level.
I think that modern surgery would be a bunch of in experienced people in masks working on someone that really needs their help. It would dispose their purpose of them being there. It wouldn't be fair to the people in the ER. Out of sexual reproduction and asexual reproduction how are they different? Asexual reproduction is only one parent making a child. The child looks like that parent. The parent doesn't need another thing to reproduce with. It is mostly in plants. Asexual reproduction is in germs and bacteria. They do it so that their species can keep living.
Sexual reproduction is way different from asexual. It involves two beings. They make how ever many babies their body allows them to. Mostly humans and animals do sexual reproduction. People and animals share the DNA and traits with each other. They give both of their traits to the baby, and that baby is born to look like both of the parents instead of one like the asexual reproducers. Also unlike the other reproducers the sexual producers can make more than one child. This will be my last Science Solution Blog for this year. Have you ever wondered what the difference and the comparasion is between plant and animal cells and bacteria cells are? Well I can tell you. One difference is that bacteria cells grow faster than plant animal cell because of the organism that it lives in. The plant cells have chloroplast inside to catch the sun's energy rays. It helps the plants grow and is called photosynthesis.
One other thing that is different about them is that bacteria cells eat off of dead organisms and live in decomposers. When you look at something you eye does a lot of things. This is so that you can see these things correctly. The image travels through your eye and hits the brain. It start with looking at the image, and when you first look at the image it is upsidedown. In a matter of seconds your eye sees that.
The image starts at the cornea and flows through the pupil. From there it goes through the Vitreous gel, a water like substance to keep the eye watery. Then it goes to the Retina, the back of the eye. Then the image passes through the optic nerve witch leads to the brain to tell the eye to turn the image right-side-up. When we went to the zoo yesterday I had lots of fun. I saw the animal I have been researching for the past 3 weeks. It's colors are very beautiful. I think that the size of the sun conure is very different and that it is smaller in real life than in pictures. I thought that it would be as big as a parrot or a blue macaw. I thought that that size made that animal very pretty. The other birds are way bigger than it is.
It was very awesome! I also learned how to correctly pronounce the sun conure's scientific name. The sun conure was an amazing sight to see! I really thought that it would be bigger than it was when I saw it. I also learned that the sun conure is not in a simulated area and is with actual trees, water and things that are in its natural habitat. The sun conure is in the Tropical Forest in the Chaffe Zoo. The Tropical Forest is filled with many birds that are beautiful. Have you ever seen a rainbow and when it is made?. Rainbows are made from the water reflecting off of some light and it giving off all of the colors. A way to remember the rainbow is to ROYGBIV. Which means red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. The rainbow is an effect of reflection and is very beautiful. It doesn't just happen when it rains. It happens a lot, really.
