My favorite book this year is the book called Wonderstruck. I like the book because there were 2 stories at one time. One was in 1957.  A girl was deaf, and her mother was a singer who didn't want to see her daughter. Her father didn't know that she was going to New York to see her mother. The girl left while her father was sleep. The other story is set in the present time, and it is a boy who lives with his aunt and his cousin. The boy just lost his mom and wants to find his dad. The boy goes to New York and finds his dad and finds that his dad lives a busy life and doesn't have time for Children. He finds a friend in the girl who went through the same thing.
He later sneaks out of his aunts house to go to his mother's house. She lives across the street. He finds something that may connect him to his real father. The thing has an address on it that is in New York. He takes a train there. The boy takes a train to New York.
While in New York, he finds a woman she is deaf, but she has a translator. She in the girl in the beginning of the story.

I am a hunter-gatherer, and I am the leader of my tribe. We have come to a place where it is warm at times, but also cold at times. I like this place, and it is just what we need. All of this traveling is hurting the feet of my people. The things that I like about this place: it is warmer that what we are used to, there are a significant amount of animal we need to survive and the air is cool. I think that we should stay here.
I have called a meeting to talk about this situation that we are facing. Everyone is coming. We will vote on weather or not to stay here, I will have all rule over everything. This will take some time.

This year is coming to an end, and I have to tell you what my favorite moment from it was. I loved all of 7th grade and all of its treasures. It was very hard to choose. All through 7th grade my favorite moment was the very week of school and how I overcame my fears of moving to a new school and all of my friends abandoning me. I liked it because I never knew that I would meet new people, and I thought that I would be alone at this school while everyone I knew was having fun with their new friends.
I also liked the 3rd quarter rally because it was really fun, and we got to make a Harlem Shake video. It was super fun. It was nice to have fun for a while instead of working all day like a Computech student does. I had lots of fun with it. Before the Harlem Shake video was made the rallies were kind of boring. I didn't like the games, and they weren't as fun as I hoped they would be. Overall, I liked the Harlem Shake video.

The Core Concentration blog for to day is the worst and best of 7th grade. The best days were when we went to the zoo, and the very first day of school. I think that the best day was the first day of school because it was super fun, and it was nice to go somewhere on school time instead of doing schoolwork. I also thought that it was fun to go through the zoo and look at other people's animals and posters. I really liked going to the zoo. I liked the first day of school because it was nice to get to meet 8th graders that know the school like the back of their hand. It was nice to know meet people that I would know on the real first day when everyone went to  school. It was also cool to be in the gym and sing the song that Mr. Armstrong had way  too much fun with.
The worst days here at Computech, there weren't that many, were when we had the first rally. It wasn't that fun and energetic. I had a little bit of fun, but it wasn't that great, and it was just too dull. Another worst day at Computech was when we did the CST. That whole week was boring. At my old school we did things that made us strive to do our best on the test, like a very very fun rally.

The Columbian Exchange was an exchange between the Americas and Europe. It all started when Columbus went to America in the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria over the Atlantic to originally find a way to Asia faster but found himself in America. He thought he was in India when he landed so he called the people there Indies. He brought back many things when he went back to Spain. He brought back slaves, flowers, animals, new ways of life, and things that the 'Indies' believed in.
When he got there the people greeted him. He soon began giving the people diseases and killing them for their rich land. His new goal was to take the land for himself and to bring it back for Spain. He did wrong to the people of the Americas by taking them back as prizes to show what he had done. The diseases that his body was immune to, they were not. They died of many diseases, and their people were enslaved.
The good things that came out of the exchange was that was the cultural diffusion and the food that went across the Atlantic. The medicine that went to the English. The new land that Europe earned. The Americans didn't earn very much.

On Tuesday the seventh graders at Edison Computech went to the zoo. While we were there we saw the animal we have been studying for the past 3 weeks. There were stations that we had to finish while we were waiting for the trip to end, or when we were going to see the bird show. My group did many stations like the owl station where you had to wear a thing on your head and look forward while someone moved a little tab while you tried to see it without moving your eyes.
My favorite station was the Kangaroo station where you had to jump as far as you could and if you jumped a certain length you could jump like a Kangaroo. I liked that station because it was fun to see if I could jump as far or farther than the Kangaroo. I could jump as far as a Kangaroo. I really like that station. I was very fun!

My favorite subject in the Middle Ages is the hundred years' war. It was a series of wars between the French and the english. There was a prophecy for the French that a woman who was very religious and could hear voices could free the French from the English. Her name was Joan of Arc. She went to the church one day to pray and when she did she heard voices talking to her. She told the king that his rightful crown awaits him and that she is the one who will free the french from the hundred years' war. After she freed the fort from the English she soon was captured. The English thought she was of

What was the Black Death? How did it6 affect Europe? The Balck Death was a plague that hit Europe around 1450. This plague was extremely deadly. It killed over 25% of Europes population. It occurred while the Hundred Years' War between the French and the English was going on. It really broke out when the war was over.
While, Europe was taking Kings power and France's king earned more power, it stole the show by killing people less than a day. It also killed people by a being a wart like things on their skin.

My name is Josephine  Vivaldi. My family is the king of France. He has recently announced that he is making an alliance with a noble family. He wants to prove his alliance by sending one of his daughters to marry one of their sons. The twist is that the one daughter is me. I have been chosen out of his 6 daughters. I am the youngest and only 13. This hurts me. All of my sisters have crushes on the nobles sons. They could have been chosen. This choice is hurting my brain. I can't marry, I want to travel. I want to see more than the palace. I am going to sleep this over. Maybe tomorrow daddy can change his mind before he tells the noble, or maybe I can change my mind.
Before I went to sleep I discovered a note on my pillow. It says that I may have a choice. I can have to ask for an opinion or just go with the flow. I have to think maybe the noble has one more son we haven't yet seen. This could be a breakthrough.

Who was Charlemagne you ask? Charlemagne was very famous in the middle ages. He was known as Charles the great. He was a king at that time, and he ruled for a long time. He was the king of the Franks. He was known for being the first king of the Romans. He ruled in the 700's. He was the peoples leader. They loved him.
