I am looking forward to seeing my family at Christmas time  and watching Christmas movies, especially The Grinch. Watching the Grinch is a family tradition. We sit on the couch a few days from Christmas and watch it. It is very fun. We watch it from the 22 of December to the 25. We have watched it so many times that I know almost the whole thing.
I am looking forward to see'ing my family  not only because they have presents for me, but we don't get to see each other that often so times like these we get to tell amazing stories.

I think the most important idea that the Japanese borrowed from the chinese was their philosophy and religion. I think that was important because they were different from the rest of the people because of where they were located. They sent people to China to find out what was cool over there. They found out that Confucianism is very popular out there and Doaism and Buddism. Those religions caught on very fast because they wanted to become like everyone else. The Japanese used these things to make their world a better place. It really worked and from there they kept borrowing from the Chinese and getting better at everything.

One weird day when I was pulling weeds from the garden I heard lots of  yelling from the edge of the city. It sounded like the screaming of people, but I couldn't tell. I stopped what I was doing to look out into the wide area of roads and gardens. I finally see dirt flying into the air, and a Mongol leader on top of a horse. It didn't hit me at first that my mother and father were sitting in the house. When it did, I bolted back to the house. I told everyone what was happening, and they also bolted out of the house. We ran until we got to the other edge of the town.
Our other family members live there. We were safe the Mongols could not catch us now. Hopefully they didn't see us. We told our family what we saw, and they couldn't believe their ears. We all ran towards the wall, and there was MORE Mongols. We were blocked in the middle of the city, and we couldn't go anywhere. Luckily they just wanted to be our leaders and they didn't kill us.
