My favorite subject in the Middle Ages is the hundred years' war. It was a series of wars between the French and the english. There was a prophecy for the French that a woman who was very religious and could hear voices could free the French from the English. Her name was Joan of Arc. She went to the church one day to pray and when she did she heard voices talking to her. She told the king that his rightful crown awaits him and that she is the one who will free the french from the hundred years' war. After she freed the fort from the English she soon was captured. The English thought she was of

What was the Black Death? How did it6 affect Europe? The Balck Death was a plague that hit Europe around 1450. This plague was extremely deadly. It killed over 25% of Europes population. It occurred while the Hundred Years' War between the French and the English was going on. It really broke out when the war was over.
While, Europe was taking Kings power and France's king earned more power, it stole the show by killing people less than a day. It also killed people by a being a wart like things on their skin.

My name is Josephine  Vivaldi. My family is the king of France. He has recently announced that he is making an alliance with a noble family. He wants to prove his alliance by sending one of his daughters to marry one of their sons. The twist is that the one daughter is me. I have been chosen out of his 6 daughters. I am the youngest and only 13. This hurts me. All of my sisters have crushes on the nobles sons. They could have been chosen. This choice is hurting my brain. I can't marry, I want to travel. I want to see more than the palace. I am going to sleep this over. Maybe tomorrow daddy can change his mind before he tells the noble, or maybe I can change my mind.
Before I went to sleep I discovered a note on my pillow. It says that I may have a choice. I can have to ask for an opinion or just go with the flow. I have to think maybe the noble has one more son we haven't yet seen. This could be a breakthrough.

Who was Charlemagne you ask? Charlemagne was very famous in the middle ages. He was known as Charles the great. He was a king at that time, and he ruled for a long time. He was the king of the Franks. He was known for being the first king of the Romans. He ruled in the 700's. He was the peoples leader. They loved him.

One think I am thankful for is my family. They are always there for when I need them. Even though they are not the best at everything they still come through for my brothers and I. Also because they give me presents and love me unconditionally. I may fight with my brothers and get mad at my mother once and a while but they are still there.
Another thing I am gratful for is Computech. Some people may think that I barely heard about it, but I have wanted to go here since Kindergarten. Computech is amazing, and the teachers here are great.

Do you want to know what I think the greatest Chinese achievements are? I think the greatest Chinese achievements are Gunpowder and smallpox injection. I think the gunpowder is a great achievement because we use gunpowder in our guns to fight other countries. Today we use a more advanced version, but some people use old guns and they may still need the gun powder. Today the gunpowder may be put on display at a museum or exhibit.
I think a small pox injection is a great achievement because many people can't get it because of the Chinese.
