My favorite subject in the Middle Ages is the hundred years' war. It was a series of wars between the French and the english. There was a prophecy for the French that a woman who was very religious and could hear voices could free the French from the English. Her name was Joan of Arc. She went to the church one day to pray and when she did she heard voices talking to her. She told the king that his rightful crown awaits him and that she is the one who will free the french from the hundred years' war. After she freed the fort from the English she soon was captured.
